We are in this fight to protect our community and the families who live here. With spring and summer around the corner, we could use some extra hands during all the upcoming events we have planned. Click here and let us know you are interested in helping.
Stick a sign in your yard.
This fight got started by people looking out for their neighbors so do you part and put a sign in yard or in front of your business. Fill out our volunteer form or email@example.com if interested.
Business owners: consider displaying your support for StopTitan.org in the form of a bumper sticker, our handouts, a yard sign. You reach a lot of people! We envision the roots of a tree, connected deeply and spreading out in all directions as we get the word out.
Have a house party.
There is nothing more effective than having your own family and friends telling you about an important issue and how it will affect you. That’s why we are asking you to host a get-together at your home. We will schedule one of our experts to speak, answer questions and help with set-up and clean up. It doesn’t take much – just ask a few friends over who may not know about the toxic spewing smokestack soon to move into our neighborhood and we’ll do the rest. Please contact Jennifer Salter at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up your house party.
Everywhere you go. I asked a woman working at Pottery Barn the other day, “Have you heard about the new Titan plant?" She lives in Castle Hayne and had never heard about it. Now she’s getting involved.
Contact us and tell us how you want to help.
We need: people to help with graphics, flyers, fundraising, community informational meetings/town hall meetings in every town (and people in each area to help set it up), writing letters to the editor, help making contact with organizations/schools to get the word out, as well as sitting in permitting meetings, and talking with officials. Contact us and we will call or email you back.
Write a letter or pick up the phone and call your elected officials
